Question by Just Asking: What cables and cords do I need to buy for a 42″ Phillips 1080p LCD TV?
I just purchased a 42″ Phillips 1080p LCD TV and heard there are a lot of expensive cords I need to buy to make it work at its best, but I don’t know how many or which ones. All I’ll be hooking up to it is a DVD player. Any suggestions?

If all you are attaching to the tv is a dvd player, the type of cable will depend on what type of outputs the dvd player has. Component (red/green/blue) will be the highest you can use with a regular dvd player. They aren’t expensive anywhere, but www. monoprice.com has the best prices on good quality cables, about .00 each and that’s all you need. Any cables can be bought from them that you may need, don’t spend a bunch of money on hype brands.
