ok i have a samsung 1080p tv connected to a ps3 with a psyclone HDMI cable, and I cant figure out why the exact same tv in the store at best buy has a better picture than mine can someone help me. 10 points best answer

Check the PS3′s display settings and make sue they are setup for 1080P make resolution. Also, make sure the TV is setup for max resolution at 1080P. The game you are playing may not be in 1080P, alot of games are 720P. The main PS3 menu screen is 1080, so that should be clear and crisp.
