Question by alex008: The lip sync is out on my Samsung HD TV?
I have a Samsung TV, a Samsung DVD player and a PS3. The DVD player handles the sound as this has the digital sound producing capabilities, but the sync is out on my Mp4 files when I play them from my PS3. I have the PS3 connected via an HD-MI cable to the TV and a fiber optic cable connects the PS3 to the DVD player for the sound.

This is a common problem with the setup you mention. There are only two fixes that I’m aware of. The first involves adjusting the audio delay on your audio processor (in the DVD player). The other is to replace the DVD player with a proper receiver.
