Unplug your component cables, clean the terminals (use a cloth moistened with absolute alcohol), let them dry and plug it in again properly keeping the colour coding in mind. See that the plugs are all the way in and secure. If this doesn’t help, check with another component cable. This seems like a problem with your connection.

Question by This Is Not My Real Name: Return 32″ 720p Olevia HDTV for 26″ Samsung HDTV?
I have a 32″ 720p Olevia HDTV. Flat Panel, 1600:1, HDMI, Bult in HDTV Tuner.
But its actually a little bigger than I thought once I had it in my room. With that said, I think a 26″ is good enough for me.
So if I returned it back to circuit city for a 26″ Samsung LCD HDTV, 720p, 4000:1 and basically all the features the Olevia has. Do you think it would be a good move?
Are samsungs that much better? Is it reliable? I know for sure based on the displays at the store that their picture is a WHOLE LOT BETTER, but is it worth downgrading the size of my screen for the quality of a samsung?
btw, with the tv I plan to watch channels in HD, get a hi def dvd player, put in my ps3 and xbox 360.
no i will not go with a 1080p since I dont have the money for that. Im just asking if it is better to go from a 32″ olevia to a 26″ samsung.
