Question by RamazRamz: How do I get 1080P quality image on my HD 1080P Monitor?
I have a 1080P – HD-Ready Monitor. I have no HDMI input what-so-ever, but I do have DVI and VGA inputs (that can support 1080P), but I want to know how I can use these inputs from a HD DVD or Blue Ray Disk Player. Is there a HDMI to DVI converter that doesn’t sacrifice the image? Help me out, Thanks!

Yes, you can get cables that convert from DVI to HDMI, or the other way around. Curiously, my monitors take HDMI inputs, so I use these to convert from DVI outputs on my PC to the inputs on my monitors. Now, of course, DVI can carry analog and digital, while HDMI is digital-only, but assuming your DVI monitor works with DVI-D cables, you should be fine.
There’s no quality loss, particularly if you replace your cable, rather than extend it. Here are some cables that work fine and are moderately priced:
