How to stream your favorite movies from torrent to your mobile devices

Mobile devices have become popular and everyone is having at least 5 inch smart phone. And most of the time when they are traveling they need to kill time. If they have movies in their mobile phone they can watch it without any problem.

If they don't have such huge capacity memory card to hold such large files and they want to watch their favorite movie without downloading the file completely. Hey, I had these old Home Movies on Video and I converted them to DVD, now,
I am getting read of my DVDs and getting Blu-Ray, but I want to know is there anyway to convert them to 1080p HD or even just Upscale then to HD, using any free software and then burn them onto a Blu-Ray Disc with another free software.

Question by elovingfos: Analog TV, digital cable box, HDMI Samsung DVD recorder with VCR. How do I hook these up?
The Samsung DVD recorder does not have the coax connection (I think that’s what it is) and this is what’s throwing me off. What kind of connection do I use instead of the coax cable to make all of this work together? I know the Samsung DVD recorder is “overkill”, but I plan on upgrading the TV to HD eventually, so this is what I have for now. The tv is a Panasonic with surround sound. And I have a digital cable box.
I’d appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

If your TV only has antenna (coax) in, then you will need to get an RF modulator with multiple inputs. The most common output that all your devices are just about guaranteed to have is composite video (yellow connector) with analog stereo audio (red and white connectors). You’ll need an input for each of your devices.

For surround sound, you’ll want to connect the DVD recorder with a digital audio connection, either coaxial (not to be confused with antenna in, though it bears the same name) or optical. I’m a little confused about your surround sound setup, as you describe it as being a part of your TV. If whatever the speakers are connected to don’t have digital audio in, you’ll have to stick with analog audio. Some older devices have analog surround sound out, where there are 6 audio cables, but those are less common. If you have neither, you’ll have to wait until you have a device which can decode the audio streams carried by HDMI.

Unfortunately I very much doubt that YOU can repair your monitor/tv (unless you are an electronics engineer?)

The symptoms you describe could be a number of things, from a lose screen plug, dirty/bad connections to a faulty (unrepairable but replaceable) screen.

I realise that is not a great help to you, but your only option is to take it to a (reputable) repair shop/agent to have the problem diagnosed and get a quote for repair.
These days it is often more economically viable to replace rather than repair.

A word on safety: Do not go anywhere near the internals of your set! It uses LETHAL voltages and can hold that charge EVEN when unplugged.
Only a competent person should attempt a repair.
